Save Energy Program
Objectives
Save Energy Program is a project initiated by International Institute
for Energy Conservation in 1996. Formerly the project was called the Capacity
Building Project, because of unclear Polish meaning of the expression Capacity
Building, the name was changed. One of major objectives of the project
was identification of the market place for
NGOs, and to build convenient position for environmental NGOs. Due to immense
support of the National Agency for Energy Conservation, especially personal
involvement of Prof. Krzysztof Żmijewski, the Save Energy Project got convenient
market position.
Mission of
the Save Energy Program
In 1998 the mission of the Save Energy Project was redefined:
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide the best consumer information
about energy efficiency to final users of energy
The major tool for fulfillment of the mission is an Energy Advisory
Office (Network) supported by other informational activities.
